About Lyferr
Built by the peoplewho chased the lifer.
We started Lyferr because every wildlife marketplace ranks guides by who pays for placement — not by who finds the animal. After a decade of expeditions on three continents, we built the verification layer we wished existed.
What we’re here to do
Help species-first travelers find the guide who can actually deliver the sighting — and prove it with verified data. For the traveler whose itinerary starts with a target species, Lyferr is the only marketplace that ranks guides by verified species-sighting success rates.
What we stand for
Truth over stars
Reviews rate friendliness and food. We rate whether the animal showed up. Credible data is adversarial and verified, never self-reported.
Honesty about uncertainty
A guide at 1-for-1 does not outrank a guide at 47-for-52. We show confidence ranges, small-sample caveats, and Unverified tags. Being honest about what we don’t know is the whole product.
Better odds, never a promise
Wildlife is wild. We never guarantee a sighting — we show verified track records so you can stake your one big trip on data instead of a hopeful guess.
Built by people in the field
Lyferr is led by a National Geographic–featured wildlife photographer. We’ve spent the early mornings, missed the bird, and learned which guides actually find it. That’s the experience the Accuracy Index encodes.
How the Accuracy Index works →Costa Rica first
We launch in Costa Rica — one of the most biodiverse countries on Earth and a top destination for wildlife photography. We focus on a single country first so our guide network and sighting data run deep rather than thin. More countries will follow.
Search your species and see who can actually find it.
Find a guideNo guide guarantees a wild animal. These are verified track records, shown to improve your odds — not to promise an outcome.
